Lost in reality

  1. Some people need to touch in order to retain memory,
  2. Some people read and remembers what was written
  3. Some people retains what is heard with the ear
  4. Some people retain what is seen by the eyes

The aim of all is to capture the attention, inflame passions, stir emotions and in the end to elicit some form of response. It is known that the memory stores and although response would love to be immediate it is often stored in the memory for another time and another place.

I sometimes point out that I am a work in progress and therefore it may not be a good idea to compare me to others. It is even tragic to compare me to characters as depicted on movie or television screens.

After all I am seen just as I am. I have no scrip with the lines that I should speak. I have no make up artist to give me the perfect appearance. I have no director to ensure that things are done in such a way to stir your emotions. Maybe i am lucky not to have any ideal that i have to portray. I am and remain me.

All too often I hear a quote or scene from a movie to provide inspiration.

So a quote is attributed to the movie star and not the script writer

A feat is attributed to the star and not the stunt double

The star is praised for how well he plays a role and not the director

Now in the end we are entertained to the point where we become lost to reality and begin to believe what is portrayed on the movie and television screen is real. Things is then taken a little further when I am expected to be comparable to what is acted out on a television screen.

Prince W Bradford writes books that will leaves readers doing self-retrospection and desiring for others to explore the contents of his writing. As a person who have listened to tall tales all his life he places the truth alongside the outrageous with the intention for the discerning mind to differentiate between the two. His prose and verses covers three dimensions i.e. exploring his mind and soul and sharing the discoveries, communicating with his fellowman and showing how every man need the other, connecting to the Higher Powers from which inspiration flows. As his peers and others continue gaining insights into his writings many are personally purchasing copies of his books for schools, grandparents are also purchasing his books for their teenage grandchildren, because of a desire to see others informed while exploring the challenges his writing poses.
